it's been a long while since updates! school is beginning
to take up much anxiety and my time, it feels good when
things are accomplished and new things are learnt though ;}

in any case, i have found great joy in getting to know the
individuals from class. i hope london will be way more rewarding!

the weekend passes and it's back

i got to see some old faces, meet new friends,
finally some drum n bass, some new paint work
and be shown off at a little heartwarming picture exhibition.

Caffeine just bought SGD7.5k(++) worth of new Mac Products,
including an upgrade to 4GB Ram on Randy's new MacBook Pro.

i'm going to buy a 1 of those too, but how to survive!
i'll be blowing my entire year's worth of pay on everything,
including products. So, some good good soul, please advise.

Today, i'm going to attempt new software. Can't tell which one
i'm feeling more inclined to learn yet, but so far, i've finally done it.
I've finally picked up Illustrator..again!

Can't say i love the new icons for Adobe's latest CS3 revamp,
it's ugly and half-hearted, compared to the classic feather/butterfly in box icons.

because not being busy is so taxing.

that was the first time i got people to sit down and draw with me.

the lovly fortcanning park for 2 days.

a few weeks ago, my scrapbooks + many other tools
got soiled with ink because of some careless mistake.
ever since, my morale has been low and i've spent
most of my time in regret and resolution. recreating a
temporary portfolio and falling ill at the same time.

nobody said it was going to be easy, just as well.

i'm 8 days past by 1 yr anniversary as a working young adult,
part of an industry i sort of, saw myself working in. at the same time,
i'm 72 days away from becoming a student again.

here is to the new & in the vault with the old.

ps: also, always remember to cap your inks/paints/watering mediums after use

the past week has been busy as well as exciting.
this week, comes the outcome of all that has happened,
hoping to see smiles on people's faces when they do.

my lazy saturday at NAFA's degree show was pretty good,
one of the highlights have to be meeting with the old folks
of design school again. found really good work with an
illustrator who did a pop up book that was well executed.
found good dim sum and some good conversation, man
i do miss laughing every minute.

anyway, the above is a sight i took in after getting off a
stuffy bus at fortune centre. could've gotten a better angle!
